I'm Not Lion Card:

Lion & decorative paper from K & Company's "Ka-Zoo 12x12 All In One Pad"
Black w/red hearts ribbon from Michael's during Valentine Season
"I'm Not" letters are rub-ons
The interior of this card has a large blue heart cut out of a sheet of hearts from the same paper pad

"I LOVE YOU" Card:
4.25" x 11" folded at 1/2", 2.5" and again 6.75". From the side, this card looks like a piece of pie.
Black cardstock for card base. Red polka dot paper for the front, 4.75" x 4.25" then trimmed with scallop border punch.  Silver Stickles for the decorative bling on upper, lower and right side.  White "Love" ribbon is tied thru the card. (I made a slit just wide enough for the ribbon at the 6.75" fold and the 2.5" fold starting about 1/8" from edge.) There is no message inside

Nuts and Bolts About You

So first of all, Yay! I finally figured out how to upload pics to this site! I'm not dumb, but, dang that was a lot of steps that were NOT mentioned in the original directions.  This was a Father's Day card for my DH in 2010, but for some reason the picture never made it to blogger but the text did.  Go Figure!

On with this posting!

Originally, Robyn of My Pink Stamper had set up a challenge to make a FDC and the prize was a brand new Cricut Expression donated by Provocraft. Here is the card I wanted to submit, but was unable to do so in time for the deadline. No worries though, I still have my card ready for my DH!

The card measures: 6.75" wide by 12" long.
I folded it at: 3" and 8"
The robot paper is from: DCWV's "All About Boys"
The robot is an SVG I found and created using SCAL at 3".
The font is also from SCAL, but I can't remember the font name.

Grandpa's Father's Day Card

Here is a simple card I made for my dad using my Cricut Expression and the Create a Critter Cartridge.  The cow/bull was cut at 3".  I used gold Stickles for the eyes and pink Stickles for his mouth as well as silver Stickles for the tail & horns.  Can you tell I like to add a little bling to my crafts?  LOL!  The card is 4.25" x 4.25" and I used my white gel pen to add faux stitching. Enjoy!

Aimee's Piggy

This card was made using the Cricut Expression and the Create A Critter cartridge.  Kraft cardstock was used for the card base, final measurements are 4.25" x 5.5".  I used some yellow cardstock I had on hand for the front of the card, it measures 4 x 4"  I had this green/yellow ribbon on hand so I used that as a border.  I also used an EK Success border punch on the one end.  I believe the piggy is cut at 2".

Mother's Day Card 2010

So the picture below is a belated Birthday card I sent to my 11 year old niece. Unfortunately I do not have the card information.

Here's what I do remember...
The card is made using a light lavendar cardstock from Michael's.
I used the large "so swirly" wheel from Stampin Up. Then I went over it with silver stickles to make it pop. The card measured about 7" high x 4" wide (8" before folding). The "Happy Birthday" stamp is from studio g. (I purchased at Michael's for $1.)

Robot Father's Day Card

Here is a Father's Day card I made for a contest held by Robyn from My Pink Stamper. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enter the contest because I couldn't figure out how to upload my pic to this blog. The prize was a Cricut Expression from Provocraft, how cool, right? Nonetheless, I already have my Father's Day card all done for my DH! Enjoy.

The full card measures: 6.75" wide x 12" long.
I creased it at : 3" and 8" to cover the body of the card for presentation.
The robot paper came from DCWV's "All About Boys" paper stack.
The Robot was an SVG image I found and cut using SCAL at 3".
The font was used from SCAl too, but I don't remember the font name, sorry.
Enjoy.

My new blog

So I thought I would start this blog strictly for my crafting ideas. I've been trying to set it up, but uploading pics has been a pain. Hopefully, I can get it right.

You Make Me Melt

This is an Anniversary card for my DH.

Yellow card base measures7.5" x 5.5", folded in half.  I had some scrap paper I used for the front, it measures 2.5" x 5.5".  The "You Make Me Melt" is cut at 2" from neon green cardstock and I used the layer button for the "make" and used my DCWV glitter mat stack paper.  I used the same papers & measurements for the popsicle and the drippings.  Inside I wrote a handwritten sentiment to my DH.

Happy Crafting.
