Did you know 40 is the new 20? Well, it is in my book. ;)

What a fun opportunity to come up with a project for Nicole who is turning 40!

Here are the items used for this project.

• ProvoCraft's "Cursive 101" Cricut cartridge for the "40" cut from scrap fuchsia card stock at 1.75" as well as my Expression machine, the numbers were adhered with Scotch brand Quick Dry Adhesive glue.  Using the Studio G's pink glitter glue, I "blinged up" the numbers.
• Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink pad along with Studio G's clear stamps found in the $1.00 bins at Michael's Craft Stores (series 24 is the "Party Time" stamp and series 14 is where I got the "glasses" from). Using the Bic 36 count "Mark-It" markers in: Fandango Pink, Pink Flamingo, Stone Grey, and Cloud Nine Grey, I colored the wine/champagne glasses in and then Stickled them with: Gunmetal, Magenta, Silver and Studio G's pink glitter glue, for that extra bling. I then used Stampin Up's "Large Oval" punch for the "Party Time" stamp, adhered it with Scotch brand Pop-Up Foam Squares (I also cut a square into thin slices and used the pieces to adhere the glasses). 
• Brilliance "Moonlight White" ink pad used with Hero Arts' CG144 "Time to Stamp" large cling that was stamped onto black card stock from recollections at Michael's.
• Using white curling ribbon and fuchsia  Essentials brand Narrow Satin Ribbon in 1/4", I tied a knot in the ribbons and glued the knot down using the Scotch brand glue, then I cut the ribbon ends at an angle for effect.

On final inspection, I decided the card needed a little extra bling, so I used the Silver Stickles and dotted the "Party Time" oval and then the center dots to as many clocks as I could.

Autumn Fun

To create this fun little layout, I used the following items.

• "4 Seasons" 8x8" sheets by Paper Pizazz (background & phrase)
• Leaf from "Celebration" stamp set from Close To My Heart
• Stampin Up inks: Real Red, Creamy Caramel, Kiwi Kiss, Groovy Guava, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa
• Yellow ink square from Studio G
• ColorBox Chalk Ink in "Blush Rose"
• Pentel Sunburst Gel pen in White 
• Bic Mark-It pens for the tree
• Stickles in Copper
• Studio G glitter glue in: dark brown & yellow

Each of the leaves were stamped onto heavy card stock in white, then hand-cut. Using Aileen's Tacky Glue, I adhered the leaves onto the background. Draw a tree using the Bic markers. (3-4 colors were used to make this tree.)  Faux stitch the border with the white gel pen.  Stickle/glitter glue random leaves and the leaves on the phrase.

*Quick note: I accidentally ripped the paper out of the stack poorly, but like how the tear gave the image a more rustic & rough feel to it, not quite so put together.
